Lone Star Lacquer - The Cozy Collection
Today I have swatches and a review for Lone Star Lacquer's The Cozy Collection. There are 5 polishes ranging from light pink to brown, inspired by all the comforting and cozy things we use to keep warm in the winter. From the maker "Warm fuzzy blankets, cups of warm cocoa, warm socks cozied up on the couch on a cold winter day - these are pretty winter colors to keep those winter blues away." Swatches and review below.
Reflection is a light rosy pink with soft, subtle red shimmer in a frosty finish. Swatch is 2 coat with topcoat. Formula is sheer on the 1st coat but builds up nicely on the 2nd. It will leave slight brushstrokes so I recommend a careful application. However, it is easy to use and control, with a nice consistency.
Cashmere is a light taupe with subtle holographic shimmer in a frosted finish. Swatch is 2 coats with topcoat. Formula is also easy to use, leaves slight brushstrokes, but they aren't as noticeable as in Reflection. I loved the way this one looked on me.
Crackling Fire is a warm toned red with scattered holographic metallic finish. Swatch is 2 coats with topcoat. This one also has slight brushstrokes, but it has a very smooth formula.
Toasty is warm brown with golden shimmer and scattered holographic sparkle. Swatch is 2 coats with topcoat. Same formula as the others.
Cup o' Joe
Cup o' Joe is my absolute favorite! A dark chocolate brown with holographic sparkle. Swatch is 2 coats with topcoat, I almost got away with 1. Formula is similar to the rest, only more opaque.
The Cozy Collection is available now at www.lonestarlacquer.com. Polishes are $9.50 or $32.50 for the set.
I received these polishes as press samples through the Nail Blogger Roundabout.
