Bad Bitch Polish - Valentine's 2016 Trio
Today I have swatches of the upcoming trio for Valentine's Day from Bad Bitch Polish. The polishes in this collection are inspired by the more...adventurous...side of love, as Britt, the maker behind BBP, described it. The trio consists of Blindfolded, a reddish purple with lots of sparkle; Fuzzy Handcuffs, a light pink with shimmer; and Love Bite, a purple with blue shimmer.
Blindfolded is a deep vampy reddish purple with lots of shimmer. Formula and application are flawless, super smooth and easy. Swatch is 2 coats with topcoat. It dries to a super shiny finish on it's own. No staining or any issues to report. This was my favorite of the three and I was sad when I took it off.
Fuzzy Handcuffs is a creamy light pink with soft iridescent shimmer. Swatch is 3 coats with topcoat. As far as formula goes, this is one of the best pale pink cremes I've tried. 3 thin coats for opacity, 2 thicker ones would also work. It was smooth and self leveled, not a streaky mess. It dries to a shiny finish. The shimmer is very visible in real life, although it was hard to capture on camera.
Love Bite is...the color of a fresh bite! (I love the descriptions Britt included with the samples). It is a purple with blue shimmer. Swatch is 2 coats with topcoat. Excellent formula as well, self levels, dries to a shiny finish. I had issues capturing a clear macro of the shimmer but it's there.
Bad Bitch Polish has some of the best indie cremes I've used and this collection is no exception. Beautiful, shimmery colors. I am a big fan of shimmer finishes so I was very excited to get these to swatch. They will be available on Friday, January 15 at www.badbitchpolish.com. Price will be $9.50 for the full size bottles, $27 for the set, $4.50 for mini bottles, $12 for the mini set.
I received these polishes as press samples in exchange of swatches and an honest review.
